Kunduz is the best known Afghan Carpet. It is manufactured in colors dominated by red and its diffirent tones. Blue, beige or black stylized flowers are its most distinguishing feature. Although known as Afghan rugs, they are woven by Turkmens living in the country. It is woven using a symmetrical double knot (Turkish knot). All of its components are wool.
